Luker Brothers

I wouldn't use Luker Brothers again if they were the last removals company on Earth. They let us down 24 hours before our move by suddenly telling us they hadn't got a van to do it. No apology received from their extremely rude staff who couldn't care less. We were left panicking & trying to book an alternative, with just a few hours notice. We finally managed that after 3 hours of phone calls when we should have been last minute packing. Avoid them at all costs! The woman in the office told us we'd got a van at 9AM then told us she hadn't at Noon. She is the most unhelpful person I've ever met in business. She had been rude and abrupt before that - but to leave us high & dry like that was absolutely disgraceful.

Luker Brothers made my move from Oxford to Buckingham easier than I ever thought possible. I paid a bit extra for them to do the packing. This was money very well spent. The three of them swooped in at 8am and had everything ready to go by 12.45pm,including some complicated dismantling of large items of furniture. All I needed to do was keep the coffee coming. They got everything in quickly and in a very well-organised manner at the other end. They were efficient, cheerful, professional and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.

PS Please note that when I was completing this review form, the drop down list for delivery city didn't have Buckingham as an option, so I had to put Milton Keynes as the next nearest city.
